ELIZABETH DONNER
Dr. Elizabeth Donner is the Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at the Hospital for Sick Children and Michael Bahen Chair in Epilepsy Research and Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at University of Toronto.
Elizabeth’s clinical work is focused on the medical, dietary and surgical treatments of drug-resistant epilepsy in children. Dr. Donner leads a research program focused on identifying those most at risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP. In addition, Dr. Donner has had a strong commitment to epilepsy advocacy in the professional and lay communities. She is a Chair of Partners Against Mortality in Epilepsy, Co-Lead of ECHO Ontario: Epilepsy across the Lifespan and Board Member and Scientific Committee Chair at Epilepsy Canada.
